To us the stresses of a wedding are extremely underrated and rather exhausting for what is meant to be the happiest day of your life (which it was). We thought a surprise wedding was the way forward and would suit our personalities and lifestyle. Even with this casual approach, this was alot more of a task than we anticipated. The first time I spoke to Sarah I hung up and looked at Smit and said "that's us mate, she's perfect'. We both felt Sarah was only too willing to help, in fact she did everything and understood perfectly what we wanted out of our day. Her ability to go with the flow, and the off the cuff whitty humour was outstanding! Also she kept our secret! Looking back there was nothing more we could have asked for from Sarah and we really appreciated the time, effort, humour and thoughtful words she added to our day. Thanks so much xo

Sarah thank you so much for being part of our special day...we loved that you included parts of our life and the journey we went on to get to where we are. The special part at the end that you wrote for us touched our hearts, thank you. We had ALOT of guests and that never phased you. You made our day one to remember, even when I accidently dropped in a swear word during the vows! As a couple we are very cruisy with 'go with the flow' personalities. We asked Sarah to be our celebrant as we knew she also shares this similar trait - knowing this made the planning of our day very easy and stress-free. Sarah was the celebrant for our wedding ceremony at St Martin's chapel at Iona College, Havelock North.
